Default Magnum 325 reverse problem

Hi, I have a Magnum 325 2x4..... it drives fine, but when I put it in reverse it doesn't sound right, as if it's caughing but faster. I don't usually use reverse so I dont' know how long it been doing it.

what could be the problem?

Thank you.

Are you engaging the reverse over ride when it does this?

I don't understand your question.

as I am riding there are some areas that creek is so deep, so I put it in reverse to back up.

mine have a yellow button on the bars (left side under the headlight switch) that say reverse override. It's a limiter so you can't go real fast in reverse (unless you want to).

As far back as I can remember polaris has had a reverse override button. If you want full power in reverse, you must hold the button while backing up. It's one of those annoying saftey features that was probably a smart idea. If you want, check out the sticky for reverse override. You can eliminate it and never have to mess with override button again. very simple fix.

That was it... I cannot believe I never paid any attention to the over ride.

Thank you all.
