I have a 99 scrambler and i need to know how much it cost to get the rear shock rebuilt. I t is a fox shock with resivor. what is the gas they put in those shocks . I live in PA near pittsburgh , i need to know if there is any place to take it that does a good job. I recently broke my swing arm twice in te last 6 months any one else with this problem.

Ring Wayne at PEP. He will rebuild the Fox shock with valving specific to your body weight and riding style, and supply a nnew spring matched to the valving, body weight etc. Costs about $289.00 insluding the new spring, and is a better bet then buying a new shock from Works or someoneelse.

However, once you have done the PEP rear, buy some Works front struts ($226.00) and the Hot Seat springs ($169.00), and you will have the best suspended Scrambler around!
