1995 300 carb

Default 1995 300 carb

Would anyone know why my carb would leak gas from the main jet soon as i turn on the gas from the tank i put a new needle and seat in and cleaned it several times the floats are good. i just dont have a clue what it could be any help would be great .Thankyou

Float level set too high, with carb on a level surface, and upside down bend tang on float so that it is level with the bottom of carb,could even be slightly less.

nope the floats are set right and i just put new ones in still it leaks could it be the jet? thankyou

Piece of dirt or something under needle and seat?

make sure your floats are Empty,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i shooked the floats they seem empty they are two little hockey pucks but i think that must be the problem cause it should work new needle seat the arm is set level to the carb. any other ideas?

well i put new floats in and still leaks but i found that if i unplug one of the three vacume lines it would stop leaking anyone know what the vacume lines are for? can i drive with it disconected any info. would be great thankyou
