Default Ignition switch help

I have an 04 sportsman 700 that I want to bypass the original ignition switch. I got the wiring diagram from my polaris dealer and it only shows 7 wires going to the switch but I have 10 wires! I want to put a toggle switch to power up everything and a momentary switch for the starter. Is this possible? If so, which wires do I put to the toggle and which wires to the momentary?

My print shows 11 wires , did you miscount ?
According to the print -
#31 W/R goes to A
#23 & 24 both R/W go together to B
A & B goes to the momentary pushbutton for the starter

#30 & 22 both R/Blk go together to C
#45 & 47 both R go together to D
C & D need to go to a NO { normally open } contact which when closed is run position .
#2 & 39 Blk go together to E
#33 & 38 both Brn go together to F
E & F need to go to a NC contact , opens to run .

If you use a DPDT toggle switch put a jumper across 3 & 4
C to #1
D to #2
E to #5
F to #6

A & B go to a separate pushbutton for the starter , hope this is clear enough .

Money not an issue, time is. This is the third time the OE switch has shorted out also so it's time for a change

ok, had the wrong diagram, mine had a fuel gauge, but this diagram is not showing the white wire that I have in my harness. Wish I could figure out how to post a picture of the blooming thing...

3 switches? Sounds like you have other issues causing switches to fail. One failing over time, then yes,not an uncommon thing to happen. Three, something else.

There's two different wiring diagrams for this year , what colors does yours have ?
Does your machine have a fuel gauge ?
The only white wire listed is for the gear signal indicator .
