Default Firm shifting on XP

Few months ago there was a thread that digressed into talking about lubing a shifter on a SP. I can't find the thread.....Does anybody have any tips or suggestions for lubing a XP shifter? I'd like bit smoother action, as mine's pretty tight. It's been in deep water (too deep) and I doubt that helps anything.

is it the shifter/linkage or the transmission it self that is hard to shift? i would think a spray type lube into the moving pivot points would help.

There's not much to lube on the shift linkage (three spots) and I doubt if it would help. My dealer claims they are all hard shifting (no help again there). Mine will stick in gear, if I am on a steep slope. The hard, stiff, and sticky shifting is about the only thing I dislike about it.
The idle is OK and I am hoping as I get some miles on it, the shifting will improve.

I used spray lube on the three lube areas yesterday and it helped.

One other thing is, shifting is harder if tranny fluid is down a bit.

Cool...will give it try tomorrow. I guess a grease-like lube would attract gritty material. Prob not a good idea.

Been so busy with damn work. NEED to get out and ride this week. It's a mental health issue at this point.
