About as close as you will get. The only engines Cat does not build are the 300 cc and smaller. Everything from the 366 to the 1000 are built in St. Cloud. No more Suzuki engines in there wheelers. Either Cat or Kymco.

All Can Ams are built in Mexico now. Sad state of affairs it has gotten to be.

Another way to look at it, would you buy a Polaris ATV if it where manufactured in China and just sported the Polaris logo and price?? Well as for me, I won't
I don't know about the junk manufacturing prospect.....It's all about how they're (Mexican workers) are monitored and controlled. If they're junk nobody will buy them, Polaris will be on a slow slide into the funk. I can't imagine the management will let that happen. Only time will tell I guess.

I'd buy an Arctic Cat if they could compete with Polaris and Yamaha. I can't imagine AC being able to compete with Yamaha in the long run. Polaris is just barely able to keep their head above water against Yamaha. Don't mean to offend any Cat owners here. They make awesome sleds.

With Polaris likely to acquire/merge with Arctic Cat in the near future it might help their market position a bit.

Wow! That is one HUGE reach there. That will never happen. Cat is doing fine financially and has ZERO DEBT! To strong a company to go to the other side. Again. WOW!

So whats next, closing local dealerships because it "costs" too much
to run them and open up e-Stores to sell Polaris ATVs? You will have
to contact a sales rep. in Mexico apart from the web site order form.
It worked for Dell Computers but we are not talking computers
here!

MEXICO Mfg. = Toilet
