Default I'm not very happy

The 2004.5 700EFI started running real bad. After two trips to the shop and $150 they told me my fuel pressure was too high and I needed a new fuel tank assy. BS. With the info gleaned here I tore it down and found the fuel pressure reg internal strainer plugged up. I replaced the pump inlet filter FS111 and ran the pump with the reg torn apart to get any residual crud out of the pump assy. Put it back together and it ran great for about five minutes. Checked the fuel press and it's 90psi again instead of 40. I don't know how this happened with a new inlet filter. I guess I'll do it all again only this time drain the tank, dry it out and see if someone put a dirt clod in there or something. At least I'm not 10 miles from camp in a snow storm. Thanks everyone, Ken
