Well some have been long waiting for the X2 version of the XP850. Check out the link:

Looks like there will be a 2011 850 X2 Sportsman - Polaris ATV Forum

Well, that sounds great! Hopefully they'll do it. Not sure the Henden familey economy is up to it right now though. I've also thought I may stick with the 500 class machine and get the 550 if I get another one. Thanks for the heads up R.

Yea I looked high and low and couldn't seem to find anymore information on any other quads off of the CARB web site. Anyone else?

Thanks,

I think CARB will be it for a month or two. They seem to hide the new models pretty well.

Howdy all.....It would be a nice edition to have an 850 X2 in the 2011 line up. As with Moose, I'd be happy with the 550 power......if the power steering was offered. I figure the 2011 850 X2 will come with EPS and the 2011 550 X2 will be as is. The X2 needs to have more color choices, the Orange Madness and Camo come to mind. (Yes ....I do like the orange.) The X2 is being touted by Polaris as the world's most versatile ATV.....and it has the fewest color and accessory options....but it has gotten a little better on the accessories side. Keep the Turf mode in the line up, unfortunately it got lost on the 2010 Touring models. All that it is, I think the X2 is the best of the long wheel based ATV's out in the market.......Ok, I've only rode two other brands but the X2 feels better to me. We will see what Polaris has in store for us at the end of July.....just opinions and ramblings.....NoJoke

Wonder what the next few years will bring from Polaris. The waiting factor is tough. Never know when to pull the trigger. Glad I got my XP in '09. It will be ready for retirement by 2012 or 2013 when a new mystery machine is released.

Are you still going to support Polaris a company that is moving there ATV manufacturing to Mexico ? In 2012 - 2013 your machine will be a Mexican mystery all right .
