Default blinking battery dummy light

battery not keeping a charge. Bought a new battery, light keeps blinking on the display. Help! I checked all the wires for rips and tares, cleaned regulator wires, cleaned off all connected parts to the battery, battery light still blinks. The battery indicator on the display also blinks more when the lights are on.

What's your voltage output? Overcharging or undercharging could cause the idiot light.

i would guess if it isn't putting out any or low voltage that the recifier(regulator) is bad or has bad connections and you said you cleaned them already.

Volatage output is between 11 and 11.2 thats as high as it goes. I treid to use my winch and the quad just about died.

sounds like it is putting out some voltage so most likely the recifier is bad for sure.

My guess is it's the stator a buddy's machine 500 tho was doing the same thing . He pulled the stator found one bank had grounded out he rewired just that one and it's now working great .
