You can put the shaft back together. They usually come apart when you pull the shaft. There is a drain screw on the rear end to empty the fluid.

you can put it all back together, kind of a pain, but its possible, best way to get water out of rear end, just dump it out the drain on the bottom, fill it with whatever cheapest 90 weight you can find run it down the road a little bit, then dump it again and repeat this as necessary, then put your good fluid in it when all the water is gone

rearend back together used wedges and hammer to remove rear axles wernet to bad gettin ready to put it all back togather next have to check awd system intermitant service when i put it in awd hope it aint bad any suggestions

well guys put her back together and now that everything is tight in the back im gettin more power to the ground can acually get a wheely with little effort couldnt before havin you guys and the polaris shop manuel helped out tremendiously thanks this is an awsome forum think my wheel sensor is out new speedo everything but the speed works
