I was reading where BP had ignored the warning signs and advice because they were behind and it was costing them thousands of dollars a day.

So, how'd that work out for ya?

 

Sad part is after all is set and done BP will still be in business and making money hand over fist and we as tax payers will probably get stuck paying the bill!

 

BP will say they're sorry, fire the CEO (and give him an outrageous severence), say they've lost billions of dollars and just try to be quiet for the next few years as they still make a profit.

Profit turns into tax dollars that the government already spent years ago. There WILL be more profit for them in the future. Do you want to make up the tax loss if BP went under? I sure don't.

Another catastrophe that won't go to waste. You can count on that. BP will makes billions and give out billions that will be taxed again. It's a win win for the elected officials who blow our money. Just wait until they spend millions to pay unions to build new fancy hotels along the coast (along with many other new landmarks) just to get tourism back in check. The bozo'z at the WH are grinning ear to ear when we aren't looking..........
