I have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 700 and I'm trying to find out how to fix the fuel guage. It did work for a while when I bought it...Any ideas????

What is it doing? Mine reads just over half tank when full but is pretty close on the reading once it gets below that point. Also have a buddy with same issue and his did it just after 20 hrs. I to wouild like to know how to fix this issue but it isn't a big deal to me.

most likely the sending unit is bad some how depending on what it's doing. it is part of the fuel pump inside the tank.

Great ideas guys but the real fix is to pull the sending unit out and bend the bar out, the float is catching on the inside of the tank. Had the happen on my '07 800 X2, used a clothes hanger and pulled it out, worked for a while, then... Pulled the whole unit out, re-positioned, worked like a charm after that, no more 1/2 readings when full
