New to Polaris

Thanks. I thought about doing that after looking at how they're mounted then chickened out for fear of breaking a tab.
Do all polaris atvs ride as nice as this magnum? I've never been around enough of them to know since most of my riding time has been spent on other brands.

The magnums are good riding ,but the sportsmans have independant suspension and ride even better. On relly rough terrain you may encounter one rear tire off the ground, where that it has a solid rear shaft.
Ive owned 2 a 2000 and my 2002 ,both were prone to the rear hubs wearing out.It is a positivre traction rear end ,so the aluminum hubs are the weak link then something needs to break.Keep it off the tar or at least ride with 2 tires on the dirt
What year is your magnum, and did you say 4 wd?
Lots of maintanance items on a magnum
front differentiial oil
rear differential oil
gear box/trannyoil
engine oil and filter
front hub oil
shifter oil
air filter
lots and lots of grease fittings

It's a 2000 and 2wd. I've changed all the fluids in it, and greased all the zirks I could find. Very rarely do I ever get on pavement of any kind. Crossing a highway is the only time it'll see pavement besides the cement floor of my shop
