Struts on a sport ATV would not be that great of a idea. Cant believe the Scambler and 500 Sportsman are still around for 2011,when did they first come out? 1996 I think, thats a long run.

I don't think they will get rid of the "Trail Boss" for quite some time... The name has been around since the beginning! I am not 100% sure but wasn't the trail boss the name of Polaris's first ATV???

And as for the sportsman 500... That's the flagship for the Polaris Atv line. I bet there are more 500's sold than any other model.

Thought it was the Cyclone, which got a major detuning to become the Trail Boss.

The 500/400 HO looks cheap in the front end as far as plastic goes, looks like one of those 90cc ones a few years ago!!! Well at least the price didn't go up. Looks like you would have the same old plastic vibrations on the new 500 HO with the plastic touching like it is. Well they moved the radiator up so that's good.

Polaris went halfway on the X2......added the 850 powerplant but no EPS. For me, no reason to get a new one this year.......no excitement on this years lineup. I do like the Orange Madness XP though.....JMO.....NoJoke

Yep you were right.

And the original Scrambler was right behind that.
