Dealers didn't get to see the 2011s until July 26th. The people who were invited were mostly from ATV magazines and such.

This was the very first 2011 introduction and I went with Doug Meyer of ATVTV, I help him with some of his prodductions.

Doug has tons of info on the 2011s on his website ATV Television Home Page

To me they either look VERY cheap or to over the top!

Now that looks like fun. What a gorgeous place to ride and spend the day on new machines in secret! You all must have been pretty excited when you pulled up to the ranch and saw that huge Polaris 18 wheeler.....Nice to have friends in the right places.

BTW: Can't believe the number of miles you rack up on your bike. That's nuts. Wish I could ride that much. Our trails are so short and rocky/muddy...you can't get the mileage. Very few places to rip for a period of time. I need to start traveling more within Maine.

Yep! I agree.

The entire line up went back a few steps, IMO.

Have to wait till next year for something worth looking at.......

thanks FunRide, we had a really great time.

I have posted quite a few pictures of where I get to ride and where all the miles came from. If you're interested you can see them here; http://forums.atvconnection.com/fami...rail-utah.html

The Diesel ranger looks promising, going to go test drive one soon, might trade in the 2009 800 sportsmen for one.

I am glad the 400 is back in the fullsize chassis, because the Hawkeye chassis it was on is a TOTAL POS!! No low gear, or anything for that matter. Going to price one out, maybe tomorrow. Up here, I could get a 400 for $1,000 less than a 500, and now that they are on the larger chassis, that is even more bang for the buck. NO price changes either, so I will assume it will be the same. Will know more tomorrow.

For me, the 400HO it will be.

Polaris MSRP prices are strange, both the 500 H.O and 400H.O retail for the same $5,599 price.

The Sportsman 800 twin retails for $7499 and the less powerful XP550 single is $8499.

In Canada the 2011 400HO MSRP is $6,799, and the 2011 500HO MSRP is $7,499, all plus 13% tax, and financing charges. I was quoted $5,300 for the 400HO, and $6,300 for the 500HO, both 2010 models. Will stop by tomorrow for updated info.
