as for a battery tender needing to reach the battery, don't the '09's have a plug that leads to the battery under your front panel? my '08 has one (a 2 prong plug) and i plug my charger right into that........

1. My inline filter was clean, so I will never bother with cleaning it again.
2. The manual says that the venting procedure is only necessary when you remove the lines, so I probably won't worry about this step or perhaps I'll go through the process since it wasn't that hard to do.
3. I'll have to look into that 2-wire prong for hooking up the battery tender - thanks!
4. Without the inline filter, the oil change would have taken around 15 minutes.
5. Still a Polairs newbie but I'm really starting to like this machine.
6. I do like how the Polaris uses fasteners that look like I could buy a replacement at Home Depot. I also own (bought used) a Yamaha and Kawasaki and a simple bolt, that can only be bought at the dealer, could costs anywhere from $2 to $4. This can get quite expensive.
7. The Polaris service manual is great. It really goes into detail, including a little background about how the overall system works.
8. I'm taking it up to Rock Run PA tomorrow and can't wait. I'm more comfortable and confident with it now, so I'll be able to go faster and be a bit more daring than last time.
