Went with the 99 with 1035 miles! $2500 sale price. We got $2200 for our 2006 Hawkeye 2x4 that we sold to get this 4x4. So we didn't do too bad.
I had a little scare as I was inspecting it....I had it lifted off the ground to check 4x4 function and in 2x4 all 4 wheels were spinning..... After panicking for about 10 minutes, I tried reverse in 2x4 and they didn't spin as much. I touched the front tire and it stopped. Same thing in forwards. There's just enough friction in 2x4 with all the wheels off the ground to spin the tires. 4x4 worked perfect! 4x4 is shift on the fly so long as the rear wheels aren't loose when you do it, correct?
Anyways, here's some pics:

Every single cam I have installed in Polaris 425 and 500 engines, and I have changed a bunch of them, were using Polaris oil and not changing it when they should.

Whats the right most pod light that's blacked out? N/R, Temp Warning, then Black. Seems like on their top of the line model that would have a function...Was it oil for the 2-stroke models?

That was EXACTLY the cause of it. That and Polaris oil sucks. It is not too bad IF and only IF you change it before they reccomend you change it. It breaks down far too quick.

Do you guys have better luck with paper or foam elements in these? I live in MN, so I've always been a foam kind of guy, but this one currently has a paper with pre-filter.
