how long does the front hub seal last???
#2
Harold, it is usually just a peice of grass or other debris jambed up into the seal. If you catch it right away you can often get away with dis-assembling, cleaning and re-assembling the hub. If not the seal is under $10 bucks. Don't let your dealer scare you hub dis-assembly and re-assembly is not difficult. Just make sure you lay out the parts in the order they come out. Also watch the bearings they like to head for the floor when you pull the hub off.
