I call them jesus clips cause when you loose them you say oh----- ditto on the 3rd or middle if its cold blooded and hard to start go down one on the needle also see if air-fuel screw on the bottom of carb is out 2.5 turns. may be covered by a brass cap, if so you need to drill through cap and screw a sheetmeta screw into it and pull it out with vice grips

Well, Thanks for all your input... The E-Clip should be in position 3... The Needle Jet was wore and the e-clip was broken off in the diaphram chamber on top. This carb is a replaceable part $390.00 from bike bandit... No Way! Slotted the button head screws that hold the cover on the diaphram chamber and removed the spring, e-clip, and 2 plastic parts on the needle jet. Replaced all parts with new parts from dealer including putting phillips screw back into the cover. $30.00 for the parts. Job well done!
It's back together and purrs like a Polaris!

I'm stuck with the same problem you had last year. There's no way I can buy only the needle jet/jet needle from Polaris for that particular model. Do you remeber what part exactly you replaced?

You should be able to purchase any individual part or parts you wish from any dealer or most online stores that carry oem parts. If fact, if you wanted to go through the trouble, you could buy each individual peice and build a complete machine from any of these places. It would cost you more and probably be a real headache, but you should be able to get any parts you wish unless they were discontinued. Then they would have a replacement number which will supercede the original number. Call a dealer(or a different dealer) or check Cheapcyclewarehouse.com and see if they have it.
