clutching to lower rpms
have an 04 sportsman 600 wit 05 26inch carlisle pxts. i find it too eager to back shift and buzzy when cruising.i use it a lot for huntung and trail rides, and can live with less backshift. and want less engine noise
how do i lower my cruising rpms so 30 mph isn't reving so high?

The place you buy your clutch kit will give you the springs and weights for what you want. There are many different colored springs and weights some people clutch for top end some for bottom end ,they will let you know when you call them. Lots of people go here Ritter Cycle Racing

Its kinda of hard to make a huge difference in rpms. Thats kinda how the cvt clutches work. If you make some changes to change the riding rpms it will normally hurt the performance all around also.
And most performance gains will allow the machine to get to it operating rpms faster. EPI and others do offer clutch kits to help performance but I just wanted to let you know it hard to make a huge difference.
