What to buy now for better performance
Well I just bought momma bear a 2010 sportsman 550eps which means the 06 800 sportsman is mine finally, got tired of a 5 speed manual 4x4.
On the 800, I already relocated the radiator, 589's on stock rims (27" on 12"). I want a little more kick on the bike. What should I buy next?
$3-400 for a clutch kit is a little much, cant I just put a different color polaris spring in for a little more jump in it? or go with a clutch kit? dont care for top end, if I want speed ill ride my sons trx700xx.
Is there an aftermarket air box/filter combo that adds anything (its not snorkled and dont really plan to) I dont like how the stock box has a bend to it and not well sealed even with silicone.
Anyother suggestions let me know.
will be buying tires for her new bike but not sure yet which type.
Thanks.
Some how I posted this on another thread and not a new topic and cant delete that post.

I have a 2011 sportsman 550 eps, and the first thing i would tell you to change is the tires. On my first ride i blew a tire, so i bought a set of Maxxis Bighorn 2.0`s, there a radial tire that will give you a smoother ride. I don`t have any miles on them yet because winter hit just before i got em, but on looks alone there a great tire. I also added a K&N air filter, i don`t know if that added any performance or not, but every little bit helps.

Thanks, That's the color we wanted but tough to find, settled on green. She put 9hrs on it last weekend at the Redneck Yacht Club
We have been held out by weather too, riding in 50deg weather sux.
I know you are laughing but my candy butt doesn't like cold in fla.
