Default Stopping front end sag while plowing

I have a 2009 850 with a 60" moose plow with a mibar down pressure and a moose hydro turn kit. The front sags quite a bit even with the springs adjusted. I was thinking of taking a piece of steel shaped like the letter "I" that replaced the front shock. It would be the same length and bolt size as the shock. It would lock out the front suspension. I only use the quad during the winter to push snow. If I did this what suspension/drivetrain components would it be rough on?

I'm thinking you would be OK as long as you still use rubber bushings at the fastening points to prevent metal to metal contact and absorb road shock.

Having said that, I would instead recommend heavier frt springs, which is what most do to prevent the sag.

Does the XPs come with HD (Heavy Duty) springs stock? If so you can also add spring spacers.
