Good to see reports like this. It might help some of the critics (most of whom don't ride Polaris) understand why we like these machines so much.

Interesting article given the recent suggestion here that the 425 was not a good seller and might possibly be phased out (rumour??).

I agree 100% the Xpedition is probably one of the finest atv's built. But if no one buys e'm they ain't going to build e'm.
You do the math. Brand new Xpeditions with a 10/99 build date still in the crate and no 2001's being built.
Where are they now? The 400 Express (2x4) Super fast for its size and good trail machine with low gear. No one bought them. They are history.
If you want Polaris to build your 700 twins and light weight Scramblers they are going to have to put their money where the demand is.

I for one believe there would be a huge market for a lightweight Scrambler. Everyone I know that has a Polaris sport quad would like to see them lose a few pounds.
