Just ordered the 2011. The vin on it starts with a 4 so I guess it is American made. If it wasn't, I would send it back, lol.

Yeah...just checked my VIN paperwork that was faxed to me before I take delivery tomorrow...and they both start with a 4. Whew...

Cars and trucks VIN #s are the same. W in a VIN # = German, J in a VIN # = Japan. 2 = Canada, 1 or 4 = USA.

BTW the VIN for Mexico is a 3. I didn't know the one for Germany. Thanks Weedy for teaching me something new.
