Default Winch

I know it is made in china, But Rural King has the grip tool, 3000 lb winch with wireless remote for only $59. Good deal even for a china made. TonyT

I know everyone has their own way of thinking but mine is a winch is not accessory to skimp on...Who knows, maybe it would meet your expectations but if your deep in the woods would be a hell of a place to find out...Me, personally wouldn't even contimplate that winch but I can't say anything negative about it because I never owned one...Just be careful of what you buy....My vote is WARN....JMO....

Yeah I knew I would get some responses about how a cheap winch is a waste of money. And I don't want to turn this into a debate. But if anyone wants a chinese winch here is a great chance to save some money. Some guys a re riding $400 atvs or even a $2500 atv and just can't swing a warn This is for them So please no debate here, just a heads up for agood price. Have a great day. TonyT

I'm not sure where I said anything about cheap and waste of money...I was just saying it might not perform quite as good as the proven winches....Wasn't trying to slight you in any way....was just giving my opinion...

I had one of those on one of my old wheelers. I was actually impressed that it made it 2 years trouble free and it got used alot. When I did have trouble with it, it was because of water and mud cake inside. After tearing it apart and cleaning it, it worked fine again. Are you sure it's a china made? I broke the free spool handle (mishap on the trail) and contacted them in Michigan if I remember correctly and they said they would check for a replacement part. About 2 hours later they E-mailed me and said they didn't have any replacement parts on hand but they would pull one off the line in the factory and send it to me free of charge since it was still under warranty. 2 days later it was here. Cheap or not, they have good customer service!
