Default WOW! first ride on the 850XP

Well it made it up to 22f here today so i figured i might as well start the Sportsman break in.

This machine is amazing and the tires flat out suck. ha-ha

after I had a couple hours on it i took it down the dirt road and slowly worked up to full throttle than back down to a stop again I did this a couple times before letting it sit for it's cool down.
Even with the motor not being broke in yet this thing pulls like i couldn't believe. I've never ridden an ATV that when going slow and puttering around its as easy to handle as a 500ho but when you give it some gas the thing breaths fire. as i was working upto full throttle the more gas i gave it, it just kept pulling even harder ever at higher speed. Polaris flat out outdid them selfs on this ATV I've owned a lot of machines and this thing blows them all out of the water.

I've had Honda's for year's, good machines but can't beat the ride and performance of the XP-850. Hard to believe that a machine so big and heavy can handle so good too!

Went out for a little snow ride today.
Will upgrade Rims off steel when I upgrade tires. Dealer wanted too much for the upgrade right now.

Love this machine. I really should take the thing off the Rack haha

it is a good looking atv- it would take a lot to get me to consider switching from my can-am outty with the white knuckle rotax 800- that 850xp might be the only atv in the big-bore line up that might change my mind- I've ridden the 550xp many times and wasn't impressed- my goal is to get some ride time this spring on the 850xp... and then take it from there

Nice ride! The XP platform is really the best out right now...IMO.

When you look into tires/rims check out Rocky Mountain ATV. Prices were the best when I purchased my Terracross tires.
