CaptainQuint- if you watch ebay and craigslist for tracks there are some deals to be found that make them worth getting. Got a set of prospector pro tracks two years ago with less than 100 miles for $2200 off craigslist. Then last year I came across a set of new pro-s tracks for the same price off cl. Sold my first set for same price as I got them after a season of use. Seen a few sets on cl locally for under $2500/bo. They are definitely worth the $ for plowing/getting around in the snow. Even with all the snow we have gotten this year the RZR moves it effortlessly. Same last year when I was pushing it with my 800sp.

Hey, MrThor, I noticed your rear tires are on backwards. Is there a reason for this? Just curious.
Whoops! I was wrong they are directional! I had taken them off to grease up the fittings and put them back on the wrong way! You learn something new every day!

Nice pics MrThor! I was hit by the same storm and recieved 21'',I'm by midway airport. We had thunder, lighting, and gusts up to 63mph. I really got to test out my 01 scrammy 500 4x4. This was the first time we got this much snow since I bought my scrammy in 2000. I was able to do my driveway and 4 others I do for side cash, and only got stuck twice and was able to rock it out. It was tough but I got it done after 7.5 hours of hard work. I was really impressed on how well the scrammy did! I see you had your tires on backwards, and I wonder if it actually helped with plowing. I had very little problem with traction goin forward,it was when I pushed it into the piles I had a harder time backing out of it,because alot of snow would come over the blade and get caught behind the blade and so on. I think the next time we get a big snow I will reverse both front and back tires and see if it makes a difference. As far as you guy's in the east coast getting pounded, I feel for ya.

Yeah, yeah. I am in N. IL also and got the same 22-25". Didn't need any aftermarket tires or anything. Stock 2005 SP700 and Glacier plow did many driveways. Pushing that much snow just takes a good game plan and of course you can't push it off like a 3-5" snowfall because there just isn't anywhere to stack it.

This weekend........Rockfest @ Shabbonna Lake.
