Default Sportsman Engine Oil

I have a 2007 ,500 HO Sportsman.....
what should I be running in it for engine oil?
I have always used the polaris brand oil buty is that really neccassary?
the Polaris oil does not even say what it is....like 10w40 etc.....
yes, it is synthetic.....what r you guys using?

I'd stick with the Polaris oil...it's 0w40

The newer Polaris oil is 2w-50. I don't know of any other oil in that weight.

people use Amsoil, Mobile one, Castrol, AS long as its synthetic its your choice, you can use the same oil in tranny-rear diff too, can get oil filter at parts house Wix # 51358

5-50 mobil one will work. i always used the polaris oil myself.
