Default 2006 Scrambler 500 Brake Problem?

Have had my scrambler for a year and love it! Great power, great ride and lots of torque. It's been very reliable but have a question about my braking. The single brake on the handlebar works well but there are a couple problems:

1. When you leave the parking brake on, you will be able to roll the atv freely in about 20 seconds
2. On long down hills you have to pump the brake to keep stopping power.

What is the issue here? Haven't checked fluid level in a while but it has been doing this since day one. Please help!

try bleading your brakes, or check brake pads!

you may have a bad master cyclinder which is not holding the pressure and is leaking though the seals in the internals of the cyclinder. make sure the fluid is full first and then you may bleed the brakes to see if it helps. does the foot brake work?

Never bled the lines on my quads...is this pretty much what I need to do?

Sounds like you defiantly need to bleed your breaks.
