Default ball bearing in my cvt cover

here lately ever once and while i'll hear something in my cvt cover that sounds like ball bearing bouncing around inside the cover of my transmission,or at least that's where it sounds like it coming from,i changed my cover bearing awhile back, any ideas on what this might be.............

the only ball bearings I know of on that side would be out of your crankshaft bearings... you might want to take the clutch cover off and take a peek see and see what it might be.. it could be your clutch belt fraying and once in a while one of the stings could be getting loose and hitting the cover with a knot in it or part of the belt still attached slinging around and hitting it

My guess also ......would be a bad belt.............If you had a piece of a ball bearing in there I think you would know it.........The whole quad would be shaking due to the extra play in the shaft.............Caper.............

i was talking about the bearing in the cvt cover,i changed it awhile back, just thought it might of broke and one of the bearing was bouncing around ever now and again,i live here in wv.and i keep it outside,it's been cold and snowy here,i was just trying to get some ideas, before i tore into it,i know i'm going to have to take the cvt cover off before i know anything, seems like it might be slipping a little now, probably is the belt,it has about 2,500 miles on it, never rode hard,10 mph most of the time, maybe the heat from slow ridding did it,well i'll soon find out,as soon as it's warms up a little............
