Just wondering if anyone has found a good storage box (hard or soft) for the rear of the Touring XPs to use with the seat in place. I usually carry quite a bit of stuff with me and now I'm switching to a touring so I can take my son with me. I've seen what Polaris has to offer in the two little side boxes and they are small. Looking for something to go across the back and wrap around the sides a little up to the handles. Even if it hangs over the back a little wouldn't hurt. Any input would be great.

 

I think it will be up to you to fab something. I've looked high / low...and didn't find anything for my '11 Tourings.

I purchased the saddle boxes...and also the little box in the rear (fits where you can see the seat shock). That is all the storage...besides the front.

I'd be interested if someone finds something too!

What do you think of the saddle boxes? I personally have not found a dealership that stocks them but they tell me they are pretty small.

 

...prob about half the size of the lock and ride rear box for the standard XP. But just as pricey!

Most of my stuff fits in the front storage...and my winch kit with tools fit in the rear boxes no issues. They are not the best option (especially if a person has an imagination and skills)...but they work as designed.

I'd be really interested if aftermarket comes along with something.
