Default 96 Xplorer 400 - Brake fluid on floor on both sides

Hi guys, the wheeler has been sitting for over a year now and i'd like to get it all ready to ride again. But i notice the other day that both rims had brake fluid on them and some on the floor. When i grab the brake handle there is nothing and the reservoir is empty.

Do you think that is slowly leaked out over time? should i just trying putting some in and bleeding the brakes and see what happens? or should i replace something!

Thanks
Steve

probably the o rings on the brake lines are bad, brake fluid is really hard on stuff, dries everything out, it'll take paint off so be careful when ur putting fluid in and bleeding

u can try just putting fluid in it but when it comes to brakes or any safety issues, i wouldn't want to take a chance and i would just replace them, all u have to do is take the line off and the o ring is on the line right there
