Default 2004 700 EFI Plugs

The plugs on my 2004 700 EFI look really hard to get at. Whats the best way to get at them? Any tricks / tips?

Thanks

The easiest way for me was to remove both side panels, the right plug is fairly easy to get to,the left one is the b*****h! but I just reached across and was able to replace left plug from the right side! Easier if you can pull vent hose out of the way. BUT I had a lift and worked at chest level(makes a difference) OPT

Also The store did not have Champion plugs so they crossed them and gave me BKR7E NGK Plugs. Any experience with these in this machien? I will look at my shop manual for proper gap.

My opinion is that the NGK's are much better...

I thought all sportsmans called for the NGK plugs as the oem suggested replacement. I've always thought the NGK's were better for power sports equipment anyhow.

DITTO!!! Champions are good for lawn mowers and weed eaters . 2002 700's had champions and had problem with em fouling out! I changed to BKR7ES from the very start and didn't have any more problems! OPT

I agree the NGK's are a much better plug. Also be sure when you pull the plug wires off to blow the holes out with air before removing to get any debri out of there.
