Then I hope mine is fine if they cost that much. I thought they were plastic though?

The metal Roller cage are aftermarket, there more money but are much stronger. Not sure when Polaris will just put metal ones in on there own and discontinue the weak plastic ones.

Polaris does not care because the plastic one shatter after the warranty runs out.

I understand the initial idea of the plastic because when it goes then nothing else will be damaged... but they really are trying to just make a buck. Typical. I wonder how polaris feels about the fact that john deere parts fit... and for cheaper.
Just curious sake... why do john deere parts fit?

The older AWD setup had a metal roller cage in each hub without issue, just have to replace a seal once in a while.

I would assume that my cage is fine since my 4x4 is working good other then all the play in the drive shafts.

If the AWD is working then the cage is good.

I'm watching the play in my front drive shafts also was told to fix that if ever needed I would need to install two new output hub assembles in the front hilliard . Hopefully I will never have to .
