My friend is picking up a new 2011 Sportsman 800 this weekend, we notice it has a small 4.1 gallon tank, what if the general riding range of this ATV?

 

well tlc, you know as well any of us that has been on here for years that pinions are going to vary greatly. on my 08' the most i ever got was 16 mpg and as little as 8 mpg(depending on how you ride and in what material and what added extras/weight). i can honestly say i think 56 miles w/ .25 gallon left is the most i ever got. this was a combo of riding and mostly staying out of the mud.
