I just watched the "Mud Machine" part two video from the Polaris Facebook and they had a built 850 that was lifted 4 inches, so it's still trail ridable yet is 2 inches wider and 4 inches wider. Maybe we will see a limited production of these!!!

Where do you ride, Kuvie? Just curious. If I had the bucks for a dedicated mud machine I know a lot of trails where it would come in handy up here in New England. X2 does well with one size larger than stock Mudlite XTRs but I've come close to getting bogged down a couple times.

Rene doesn't really have much on an XP 850. They're both crazy fast. XP has better front to back balance and isn't as likely to lighten the front end in corners as much as a Rene. Just my own observations. I'd really like them to put power steering on the X2 850. We're constantly battling rocks up here and it'd be nice.

you cant compare stone age foreman suspension to newer quads

you need to do lots of research son, because i do believe the suspension is different also

If you took the time to look up all the part numbers between the two, they probably share 98% of every nut and bolt.
Heres a link if you want to see for yourself. 2010 Can-Am Renegade™ 800R EFI ATVs
So I guess Polaris could do the same with a XP , just throw some sporty Outlaw looking style Plastic on the XP and you have a Polaris version of a Renegade.
