Bump...Any new rumours??

 

Not that I've seen except for HO versions of the 850 and 550. Polaris has gotten way too good at not leaking anything, or only leaking what they want leaked. I'm gonna make something up here though, but it's only wishful thinking on my part. Daryl Rath has been racing Polaris' new 850 HO sport 4x4 in the GNCC, keeping it well disguised beneath trimmed up XP 850 plastic.

 

Would this be the beginning of a gradual phase out of the 'value' models??

 

Hope not I'll have to stock up if that happens .

 

I have a hard time believing that they would EVER phase out the sportsman 500... It still one of the best selling quads every year

I believe the evening of July 26th. I'm gonna be on the Polaris Offroad vehicles facebook page that night constantly hitting refresh. Also, Polaris has an earnings release this tuesday the 19th. I'll check that out and see if they say anything about exciting new atv models to be released at the dealer show.

 

I wouldnt have thought they would do it for at least a while but Can Am just released the 1000 Outlander and Renegade. Same motor as the 1000 Commander. So if Polaris wants to keep pace with Can Am like they have been they will need to come out with the 900 Sportsman XP with the new 900 RZR XP motor in it. That would be some crazy fun!! Im guessing you wont see it with the new releases coming out real soon but in a few months.
