harescrambler,
I have been reading all of your posts, and you say your bike does 70 mph, and then later you said you got this reading from your speedo. Then again later you say you have a defected speedo that goes to 65 mph. How do you read 70mph on a speedo that only goes to 65mph?
I am not a Honda owner that comes over to the Polaris forum and flames the Polaris, so I won't get into the discussion and defend the Honda. I don't have to, because Lurch is realistic, and he is doing a fine job on his own. But, if you think your bike goes 70mph stock, you need to be realistic like Lurch! I won't even discuss the winner of the 400ex vs Srambler in any kind of race.
PS (I will tell you the ONLY race you would win, would be in reverse.)

I was looking at my "ATV Buyer's Guide" magazine last night. Since there seems to be discussions all of the time about qhich quad has faster acceleration, etc. I thought these figures might be interesting to everyone. They printed aceleration times for various speeds for different quads that they tested over the year, the results were very interesting: (times are in seconds)
Quad 0-30mph 0-50mph
DS650 2.39 5.66
400ex 2.58 7.72
300ex 3.53 -- (won't go 50)
Scrambler
500 4x4 2.80 9.50
Scrambler
500 2x4 2.77 9.37
Scrambler
400 2x4 3.10 9.55
Trailblazer4.50 -- (Won't go 50)
Raptor 2.20 5.97
Mojave 250 7.40 -- (Won't go 50)
