I replaced both my axles, but did take one apart for $hit$ and giggles mostly because the plunger had 2 bearings plop out. On my Polaris, the wheel side could only go together one way. One of the videos above is really good showing how to dis-assemble and re-assemble the outer joint. My problem was re-assembling the plunger joint. No one posted any videos of that and I just gave up!!
