Default Grease Fitting

Is there a certain size grease gun tip that needs to be used for the grease fitings on a Polaris? Tried to grease with regular gun and seem like it wasn't going through the fitting just coming out around the fitting. Tried different locations.

Most all of em are standard SAE zerks, but I think the little imports are metric, but I never had a problem on either of them. Flex hose on the grease gun makes it easier to get directly on the zerks. Also zerk could be stopped up with dirt, just use a small pencil type punch or anything small enough to see if ball on inner zerk fitting moves down? OPT

I use a standard grease gun with a flexible hose and it works great.
