Default Polaris Sportsman Shocks

I have an 08 Polaris Sportsman 800, I have ignored the fact that I have 2 shocks that have been leaking for a while. Was gonna look into replacing them this summer. I have heavy duty springs all around the wheeler, and the back is turned up all the way. It still seems to ride somewhat soft to me. Would replacing the shocks possibly fix this. Or is there a heavy duty shock out there somewhere somebody knows about, I'm not having any luck finding something heavy duty like that, just wondering your guys input on the situation.

If your shocks are leaking even with heavy springs, they will feel a little soft because you're losing dampening and relying more on the springs. As far as heavier duty shock replacement you might check with your dealer plus others on the forum may have an after market source if they are available. OPT

Unless you are ready to pony up big bucks for a set of elkas then a replacement set should be fine with the hd springs.

Where did you buy your HD Springs? I got mine from the dealer, I tried the stiffest setting once and they where way to stiff. The softest setting is like my stock springs stiffest setting.

Even if I had no fluid I can,t see them sagging much.

I got mine from the dealer also, there EPI heavy duty springs, I havent measured to see the difference from the tire to fender like when I"m sitting on it or, not sitting on it. It just may be me.
