05 winch on a 04???

05 winch on a 04???

Hey guys, Iam new to the Polaris world and have a question. I have a 04 500 Sportsman and found a good deal on a 2500lb Polaris winch. Winch is for a 05 500 Sportsman. Will this fit my 04? Thanks.

the only differnce might be the mounting plate if the 04 was a differnt generation then the 05, but i don't think so. as to the winch there would be no differnce.
