Poteau River in July
The Poteau River runs adjacent to our place and while it's not a large river, it runs down from the mountains to our east and it's almost never dry. On the way back out I ran into a skunk, that I was a little worried about seeing out during the day time; luckily, he was scared of the four wheeler and I didn't have to shoot my way out. Please send rain..........

Pretty scenery! Would look better with a little more water! Looks about like some of our creeks and small rivers down here now. Think its been about 28 days past 100 degrees with no rain! I know the same thing is hitting from Texas straight up the middle of the country. Any Native Americans on the forum?? About time for a rain dance!! OPT

Instead of a dance this part-American Indian will continue praying for rain. Besides, it's not pretty watching a 350 lb. galoot dancing around.
