I was doing some work to my engine and I noticed that one of the intake valves was always open a bit so I adjusted it and now when I open it up it chokes and goes no where. what should I adjust to fix that? what kind of power should I expect from a 500

 

Did you have the piston at TDC when you adjusted the valve?? Engine makes around 35-38 hp. OPT

 

top speed any where from 50 to 60 mph. i would think it would have been hard starting w/ a valve always open as well w/ the lose of compression form the valve being open?
