i just bought a solenoid at napa for my 2004.5 sportsman 500 ho, exact match part # 18-5817 or SME7016841

Are you sure its the solenoid, when my starter brush was stuck I thought it was the solenoid because it clicked at the solenoid. I almost bought a new one for nothing.
