Angle drive fluid is for front gear cases that have the awd in the hubs and also for rear differentials. You can substitute 80/90 GL5 rated gear oil if need be. Demand Drive Plus is for centralized gear cases with awd. Think you need to do some swapping out with the dealer and get the right fluid! DON'T put angle drive fluid in your front gear case! Way too thick! OPT

AGL (automatic gear case lube) is for the transmission only! You need the the demand drive plus fluid for the front gear case as its a thinner fluid designed for the awd system. OPT

just as i figured, good ole north american rip off gave me the wrong stuff. "will this work in my front gear case on my 500 sportsman?" "YUP" and the hand goes out for the money. not only that for the angle drive fluid they way over charged me. atleast i got the tranny changed anyway..

I just can't figure out why so many owners don't have a owners manual . I keep mine in the back in a water proof bag . In it I wright down everything that I'v ever done to the machine at what miles and hours . It lists every part that was ever replaced , what fluids I used , when those fluids were changed , everything . The next owner will get all this info showing him the complete history of the machine . most owners of used machines should get this info . I don't understand why the owner who bought the machine new can't pass along the owners manual that goes with the machine .
