Default 2001 Explorer Idling troubles

Quad runs ok, but a little fast on the idle, I backed off the screw and found no change. Checked the air filter, it's clean. Also found on our last trip, it was leaking gas threw over flow pipe, going down bumpy road, never seen that before! Does someone have some answers?

If you backed off the the idle screw and no change, you can adjust slack at the carb itself on the throttle cable adjuster,or you can loosen adjuster at throttle housing and see if idles down. Fuel loss on a choppy road is not abnormal, it may just be a sign that its time to replace worn carb parts, needle and seat, float arm, float needle(if needed) especially if carb hasn't ever been into!
