squeaking in handle bar

Default squeaking in handle bar

I have noticed the last few times I have crawled onto the quad there is a squeaking I have posted before about this I took the little U bracket off the handle bar where it goes down to the steering rinsed it all out to get any dirt dust from it wiped it dry sprayed with white lithium grease it was better for a while now its back is there anything else that I can try to quiet it?

My wife's 2006 Sportsman 450 has it also...I just sprayed a little lube down there also works for awhile...........Maybe something a little thicker may work.......Caper......

I can't remember who it was but someone on here came up with an awsome fix for a loose/squeeking steering shaft. It was a polyurethane sway bar mount for a car/truck in the correct size for the diameter of the steering rod. You can pick them up at most any auto parts store. It seems like he had to do a little grinding on the ends from the corners or something to make it fit but it seemed like a great idea... You could try to search for it but I can't remember who or which model polaris it was on but he had pics and everything. It wasn't that long ago... I'd say about a month or so... maybe less when it was posted

maybe some grafite power to put in so it will stay lubed for longer time? just a thought. a greade fitting would be nice to have there.
