Default test speed sensor

is there anyway to test the sensor that you can do like ohms or anything? don't want to buy new speedo unless i'm sure.

Never tried with an ohm meter, because I had the test harness, but I'm sure with just two wires(I think) should be a way to tell?(others may have the answer) Plus if no speed registering and usually no mileage racks up,MOST of the time its the sensor,DON'T remember replacing a speedo for this reason unless it was damaged too! the milage does rack up. i took off the sensor and cleaned it up a little as well as the brake rotor and it has a little air gap so i'm assuming it is working as should and that the speedo is just messed up where it shows 10 mph standing still and turning backwards when moving.
