Default gonna order my first plow tomorrow. What do you all think?

So. I have a 2007 sp800x2. Been thinking about a plow for a couple seasons. Staying away from the Glacier cause some of the bad stuff I've read and the dealer wants close to$600. I Really like the warn provantage I've seen at the dealer but for some reason they do not make a mount for the 07 800x2?? I have verified this with Warn. I think I will order the Eagle plow looks like a good HD setup although I have never actually seen one. Lookn at the GenII front mount. The mount bracket doesn't look as HD in the pics as the Warns I have seen though. What's odd is that eagle does not list a mount for my machine just like warn. It skips the 07 800x2. But does show the 500 or a 800 for 09. When I called Eagle and explained this to him. He just said. I've got a mount. Give me the order. Ill ship it tomorrow. Hope he is right? Any thoughts or comment appreciated as this site is where I go to feel like I know what I'm buying over the years

By the way this eagle setup. Mount. Frame. And blade is $450 total shipped. One other question. Do you guys think a 54"blade. Would narrow to 48" or less all the way tilted at 28degrees?

Ive had Polaris's Plow system and put a Warn System on season. The Warn System is superior as far as im concerned. I didnt have any issues with my Polaris, it just didnt seem big enough or sturdy enought.

The Eagle plow is very nice. Twice as HD as the Polaris plow. I have had mine since 2006 using it here in MN. Are you getting the newest mount?

The thing with Eagle is they make everything right there. If they don't have it, I'll be surprised.

The Eagle system is excellent.

I would have gone with the 60" blade. However, the 54" will probably work as long as you only use the first angle position. On the second position, your tires might be tracking in un-plowed snow.

Do you think the 54" will narrow to 48" or less. I was thinking it will be close even with it set at the steeper angle. Our sidewalks are 48" which is why I want the 54". Do u have the Gen II front mount?

I had a 50 inch and on the biggest angle it was 44 wide...

I suspect it will be right around 48" at the second setting, so it might be perfect for sidewalks?

Nope, I have the original mid-mount.

I have a 54" and wouldn't go smaller for what you are going to use it for.
